Step up to the Mic: A Spoken Word and Performance Workshop
Have you always wanted to learn how to craft a spoken word piece, step on stage and leave an audience breathless? This performance workshop is for all writers (novelists, poets, spoken word artists) who want to learn to captivate an audience with their stage presence. We will build up our individual performance tool kits with lessons on improvising and accessing our own voices, with pointers on stage presence, projection, speech articulation, breath support, memorization and confident use of the microphone. The class will offer time to write and individual opportunities to workshop current written work on stage.

KATINKA KRAFT teaches spoken word and performance in English and German to students of all ages.
